monika here with your time saver traffic. a couple of things you want to keep in mind for your commute this morning. we've been telling you all morning long about this fallen tree blocking the georgetown pike at walker road in great falls. it fell on top of a car. crews continue to clean that up and investigate at the situation. in fact, i'm going to step out and show you what it looks like live from our sky 9 georgetown pike blocked in great falls. you can see the cones are set up and traffic is being alternated through this area. so you might just want to go ahead and consider using route 7 instead of the georgetown pike and avoid the delays caused by this cleanup in great falls. we'll keep you posted on this situation all morning long. in the meantime let's go back to our map and this time over to the bw parkway and route 50. looking good through cheverly. no problems into the northeast corridor. we're looking good as well on the beltway throughout prince george's county. back to our live pictures, here's 270 at shady grov

monika?it is 6:4 # and 75 degrees. monika here with timesaver traffic. and if you take a look at the beltway, hey, this looks pretty good. you just got that slow traffic on the outer loop right up here near north leaving college park into silver spring and 270 one long slow stretch getting the route 109 and 129. but take a live look at 270 further south in jermantown and hey looks great at father hurley boulevard down to the point where the lanes divide. i think we'll take that long slow stretch. this time in from the south. no problems to report on 95 coming in from dale city. hit a brakes a little bit in woodbridge across the occoquan river. outside once again and on 395 again we'll take it leaving duke street up to seminary road and the 14th street bridge. traffic is moving very well across the potomac river. but first i wanted to tell you that one of the senior producers sam comes in on route 50 every morning and there's a new speed camera. there's an app westbound on route 50 basically.

monika, i can hear her screaming in the back already. we have temperatures which are going to be warmer than they had been. had an usually cool weekend. if we get enough sun, we'll be in the low 90s. a couple of sprinkles early and a couple of thunderstorms early this afternoon with winds out of the southwest for the most part at 5 to 10 miles per hour. want to show you the big picture. we've got some showers and clouds across areas, especially west virginia and ohio. see how the stuff is moving towards charlottesville and i- 64. locally maybe tougher to see. we've got some sprinkles here. on live doppler 9000hd from montgomery county into howard county especially, look at the stuff moving east from clarksville. this is approaching the area where 32 and 29 come together. also toward 95, 295. this will be coming across jessup, laurel, up toward columbia and clarksville. you'll watch out for that temperatures this morning, they're certainly muggy. the low to mid-70s with high humidity everywhere. some 60s, though, out in western maryland.
