good morning, thank you for joining us, monika samtani is off. have beverly farmer for traffic is that right? the lovely olga breese is off. >> we have a breeze out there this morning but it's not like what we had yesterday. so we've seen some improvement. mud skies this morning and every -- partly cloudy skies this morning and we're going to clear things up though. through the mid-morning a great deal of sunshine. right now everyone's dropped back into the 30s again with that breeze. it's feeling a little bit cooler than that. overall though today is looking pretty good. we'll start out with mostly sunny skies and 9:00, 10:00 hour. we'll push out of the middle 30s into the lower 40s by noontime. and i think most of us top out right around 42 to 44 degrees later on today. winds very much relaxed only about 5 to 10 miles an hour as we head in toward the afternoon and the evening. here are a few wind gusts we're seeing mainly west of town. not too bad though with 20-mile- per-hour wind gusts across leesburg and 22 for winchester and for cumberland.

monika samtani, it's 4:49. you've been working the phones as you walked in the door. >> i've been busy. >>> it's been very, very busy. we're trying to get the latest information for you. southeast crews have been dealing with a fire on good hope road or minnesota avenue north of good hope road in southeast d.c. the latest is that minnesota avenue had been reopened. so you can go through that area but you may have to slow down a bit with authorities still on the scene there. here's what's happening on the beltway north of town. outer loop right around 2:00 this morning overturned tractor- trailer as he was exiting right here toward northbound i-270. he was not injured but the truck was fully loaded. they need to offload that it's going to take the rest of rush hour to do that. the right side of the road is blocked. if you're heading westbound on 495 and you need to exit on to northbound 270, you can do that. just stay to the left to get around it and expect slower than normal traffic there. we'll take a live loo
