monique braxton is live on scene with an update. monique?>> reporter: since we last spoke to you about a half hour ago, tracy, workers have been arriving in this industrial area only to find out it is shut down. let me show you what's happening on the fire scene. there are three ladder trucks fiercely battling the blaze from above, also, two sets of hoses from the ground. while you were sleeping our news desk has done a little digging. the business on fire is plastic consulting and manufacturing company or pcm. pcm specializes in applying duponting pros such as teflon. police on the scene say no one has been evacuated despite the chemicals and plastic here inside the building. police also confirm there was a partial collapse but no one was injured. p firefighters toell us there are no homes nearby and we are being kept a block away. traffic is being detoured. this business has been here for more than five decades. we'll continue to monitor firefighters' efforts as well as the investigation and have more for you in the next half hour. live in

monique, what have you learned? >> just moments ago i got off the phone with new jersey state police and they have released further information. let's take a look at the sky force video taken from over the scene of the tragic accident. state police tell us a male has died. they say the female driver and a juvenile are in critical condition at coopers trauma center. they also tell us three people were taken to atlantic care medical center. we were with hundreds of motorists backed up in traffic for about an hour and a half going bump tore bumper headed eastbound from farley plaza. let's look at what we found when we arrived at the crash scene. a state trooper at the scene told us the driver lost control just after 7:00 this morning. we are still awaiting details of the sexes and ages of those injured in the accident, the extent of their injuries and where they are from. we'll continue to monitor that investigation and we'll post updates on nbc 10.com and we'll have more coverage on nbc 10 news at 4:00. for now, live
