nbc 10's monique braxton are live where police are comparing his bravery to an officer who died earlier this year. monique, explain. >> reporter: that's right, vai. they're comparing it to what happened to officer robert wilson iii. luckily this officer did survive. just as we spoke with you last i can tell you that crime scene has returned here to the scene. police tape remains here at tyson and rising sun. on the other side of it to the left, we can tell you that forensic units just re-examined that vehicle. then we saw them walk back to the front of rising sun pizza and go around the corner and head down that alley. now look at our video. our camera captured this exclusive video of an off duty officers, detective from northwest, uninjured walking with police. we're being told he is lucky to be alive this morning. here's what investigators say happened out here. two men, at least one of them entered as the off duty officer was waiting for his order. the robbers snatched $20 from the detective, then ordered him to get on the floor.
