nbc 10's monique braxton has an update. monique? >> i do have some new information for you since our last report. i spoke with someone who lives west of 5th and south. and she told me she was able to take a shower. she does have water. but this is what the scene looked like when we arrived here about an hour ago. you can see police tape is up. you also see now water is gushing from two areas on 5th street heading north. there is a larger area here right in front of johnny rockets. you'll be able to see as soon as this car passes. and over to the left, just below the handicap sign there is a small area of water gushing from the street. now, we've reached out to the philadelphia water department to find out exactly what time this happened, what may have caused it. the size of the main that broke, and when they expect crews to come out and repair it so that water is restored to this area. so far, we have been unable to get a response. but as you know, south street is a very busy part of town. there are dozens of businesses near this in

we'll have the story for you on the evening newscast live now in north philadelphia, monique braxton, nbc 10 news. >>> wrapping up the trial from the deadly building collapse in center city, philadelphia. griffin campbell charged with reckless endangerment and third degree murder. the collapse killed six and injured 13 others. on friday, a construction engineering expert testified in the case. he says the demolition did not follow basic common sense rules of the industry such as tearing down the building from the top down. experts say the decision to use mechanical demolition rather than a manual process likely factored into the collapse. he also believes the general contractor, griffin campbell, made the decision. the machine operator pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter for the role in the deadly collapse, and he testified for the prosecution this week. so did the woman who was trapped for 13 hours before rescuers pulled her from the rubble. this is video from the rescue of then 61-year-old myra, who lost the entire lower half of her body because of the collapse, and she told nbc

nbc 10's monique braxton is at the scene of the latest crime to fill us in on what happened. >> reporter: we arrived here this morning, we were shocked to find out what had occurred. this is a very busy stretch of broad street, even at 1:00 in the morning. there are dozens of businesses, a couple of churches. you see the movie complex just in the distance. all the way on broad, very busy pretty much 24 hours. this shopping center at broad and jefferson has a 24-hour grocery store with security guards and there's banks here, three of them with surveillance cameras, yet investigators tell us this is where the fourth robbery near the campus of temple university this past week occurred. temple police sent text messages saying the victim was robbed about 1:00 this morning. police have not made any arrests, and it's also unclear if the victim is a student. nearby, philadelphia police say a man was attacked and robbed while walking to his participant at 19th and diamond last night. you see the video from force 10 over the scene as officers conducted their investigation. police say the four men
