nbc 10's monique braxton is live at the scene with more information for us. monique? >> hi, rosemary. moments ago police told me that they can confirm that two twin were shot here outside this club here in lawncrest section of town. you can see that police and detectives are huddled together going over information. here's what we can also tell you. police tell us about 4:00 this morning the two men were shot, they do know that they're 25 years old. one was hit once in the chest. he has passed away. the second victim was shot in the stomach. he is now in critical condition fighting for his life and in surgery. police tell us a man fired a black handgun possibly a 9 millimeter once here in the parking lot when another person standing outside said something to that gunman, he was pistol whipped then shot. investigators also believe that bullet went through the first victim and landed in the second victim. police say the club was closed. the gunman described as having a goatee or small beard fled in a yellow hatch back four door sedan with delaware tags. police have alert

nbc 10's monique braxton is live in birmingham township to explain. what's that about, monique? >> hi, tracy. right now police are guarding this devastated scene, firefighters have departed, clearing the scene. a restoration crew has arrived to begin securing the home. we've learned the chief is going to share more about the difficulties they face in battling this blaze as well as the cause. the body of an elderly person was taken away by the coroner after the victim's family arrived to speak with the fire chief. he declined comment when asked who passed away. we've also learned it took dozens of firefighters about an hour to bring the blaze under control. firefighters from several local departments including concordville and west chester had to bring in tankers of water. we saw no hydrants here in this remote community in the 1300 block of birmingham road. when firefighters were called, witnesses told them, flames were shooting from the rear of the house. and right now, we're awaiting a comment from the fire chief to update us on the investigation as well as any hindrances they

nbc 10's monique braxton is live at septa's overbrook station. nique, what can commuters expect this morning? >> hey there, tracy. the first train is pulling off here now at the overbrook station. but they have fewer cars, they're still not able to handle the normal number of commuters even though this is the first day back to a normal weekday schedule. in july, thousands of passengers were forced to find alternative means of transportation. a defect, a crack was noticed and septa was forced to switch to a weekend schedule. today it's back to iç anormal weekday schedule but septa is in fact at full capacity just yet with rail cars. septa is reminding riders they will have fewer cars and may be forced to skip some of the stops. a spokesman told us it will be a rough couple of first weeks but it will get better. the silver lining here, the septa transit agency tells us it hopes to return 14 of the repaired cars to the rails pr week. that is through november. good news. meantime, septa is sharing these tips for a silver liner 5 regional riders. sche

nbc 10's monique braxton is live at philadelphia police headquarters. onique, what do we know about the investigation right now? >> hi, vai and rosemary.ç i just got off the phone with homicide detectives. here's what i can tell you. they have been interviewing witnesses since shortly after the gunfire rang out in mayfair. they're also hunting for a man irwaing an all-black outfit and missing one sneaker. he was last seen running from the scene after firing at three people. skyforce 10 was over the 3100 block of hawthorne, moments after people heard gunshots. investigators tell us the scene was about two blocks long, as you can see here. here's what else we can tell you. three people were shot. a 16-year-old shot in the chest. a 17-year-old was shot in the torso. he has died. the first two people were driven by a private vehicle to aria frankford hospital. that is where the 17-year-old passed away. a 21-year-old showed up bleeding from the neck at the 15th district police headquarters. he was taken by police to aria torresdale. the two survivors in crit

nbc 10's monique braxton is live in center city with more on today's negotiations. monique? >> hi, rosemary. at 11:00 this morning, septa executives, and twu leaders will begin arriving here at the share ton hotel. if they don't reach an agreement a strike could occur. the nearly 5,000 septa employees who work on the trains, buses, and trolleys in the city were told to people to walk off the job tuesday morning. over the weekend city officials began encouraging employees, including school workers, to get ready. the city of philadelphia, university of pennsylvania, and drexel, will all provide limited shuttle service for its students and employees. the city will provide shuttles along the broad street and market frankfurt lines for city employees, as well as those serving jury duty. for everyone else, the number of bikes will be increased at stations around the city. uber and lyft are working to provide discounted rates near septa stations. but that's just the beginning of the contingency plans that are being prepared at this late hour. we're going to be here for the negotiat
