that's a pretty narrow view of 641 fires across the state of montana. so as we went about looking at supporting montana this fire season we had to open the aperture little bit on the traditional fema management assistant grant and say okay, it is about preventing major disaster declaration for that can be a mega-fire, so we had to look at things like the economic impacts more closely, which leads to what are the impacts of a frontier campaign like montana. our folks may look at it and say there's plenty of structures and save as many people and in the grand scheme of things it doesn't look like a large number but they're significant impact on that portion of the population and we have to factor that in to the grant program. i talked to my boss earlier today not just about this, but the one-on-one session and he told me one thing. he said challenge the status quo and i think i'm the fire management system grants we can challenge the end of the program smoother, easier and more effect before the states. it will not cover everything. as it's written right
