you see this other one in through montgomery and howard county. we'll do a couple of zooms for you and take you towards the bluemont area and this is right along -- just to the west of leesburg right along 287 back towards hillsboro. notice all the lightning. any time you see reds and oranges, that is fairly heavy downpours. you'll continue to see this as it moves toward the north. across the river, barnsville, clarksburg, down around poolsville, this storm right here has been intensifying as it moves up to the north. you can see these are numerous lightning strikes within the last ten minutes we've seen those. over towards laytonsville and seeing these storms making their way to the north and east. the strongest portion of this storm is well into howard county but still in through this area. this is right around the boot jack area and will continue to bring down very heavy downpours. just south of d.c., not too strong here. we have a couple of downpours right along i-95. this one is right around springfield and the mousetrap down towards woodbrid

here's what montgomery as an fire chief had to say. -- montgomery's assistant fire chief had to say and back out live so you can look at some of the work still going on right now these are some of the workers in the area that has been deemed safe. not too far from them is the collapsed portion, the part where the concrete and the steel came crumbling down, but again that man still inside there, crews working now to free him and hopefully transport him to safety. unfortunately we do have one other worker who was found dead on the scene as soon as crews arrived. again the clock is ticking right now. this rescue effort happening knowing that there are storms and dark clouds that will move in here. we'll keep a close eye on that. we want to let you know the company responsible for this construction is, in fact, whiting turner. there were a couple representatives walking around earlier today. we tried to approach them to talk to them about this, but they ignored every question i had and walked right past us. this is a developing story. we'll stay on top of it and bring you the latest. ken mo
