so montgomery enters the story of f. scott fitzgerald in 1918. shortly after the dropped oust princeton because his grades were so bad the administration would not let him stay on for a fifth or sixth year. it's during world war i and he is probably remembering the stories his father told him about how he would help cop -- confederate spies in the civil war. southern girls, something he is interested in abuse he considered himself, even though he was from st. paul, southerner. when he gets here he is 21 years old. he has a rejected novel in his knapsack, a second lieutenant-bottom of the totem pole, and the place he was staying was camp share -- sheridan. two miles north of the capitol in downtown montgomery, a camp of 20,000 men between 1917 and 1918. obviously most historians know the war ends in november of 1918. so he gets hereafter six months before his opportunity to become a hero in battle ends. but during that time period he meets a young woman and there's two stories. we at the museum believe he originally met zelda at winter place, marv

they could hold together as it moves through montgomery, bucks county and delaware county. this is by 6:00 this morning weakening moving over i-95. just a few light showers possible. it is through the area by 9:00. then we're done with the rain. things will clear out. humidity will start to tropical later today. a few showers developing off the coast as that cooler air comes in and dryer air from the north. mid 07's right now heading for 90's. we could touch 90. that could be another heat wave with the question hashing. it looks like it will be three days at least but we're right about 90 for a high temperature. net is that humidity is high today but we are seeing a little break for tomorrow. bit more humid. a few early showers. that heat wave today even though humidity drops tomorrow. watching tropics, gaston is out in the ocean but over caribbean watching a storm that could impact part of the golden states and maybe near florida over the next five days. we are keeping a close eye as that continues to develop. there are the 90's, one, two, three, then 89 monday. tuesday we
