around the laytonsville montgomery area there was a lot of rain slated to go to 7:15. literally it just dropped. reports of flooding and goshe branch was out between laytonsville and goshen this is in eastern portion of district and western portions of prince george county and northern portions. this is sdeched quickly. it's barely moving and potentially dropping some very heavy rain with gusts to 40 or 50 miles an hour and don't be surprised if it's able to drop a little bit of pea sized hail. watch for that 201. walker mill headed for you and silver hill as well. strong storm we were watching in frederick. also seems to be weakening to do is kind of wear t themselves out over the same area. so your evening forecast will keep the chance for thunderstorms through 7, 8:00 and with temperature of 86. by 9:00 we should see everything drying up around the region and 11:00, 79. unfortunately we cannot ditch humidity or second heat wave for july it got expensed today with high temperature of 91. we'll let you know what to expect tomorrow and rest of week in a few minutes. to

that's right, police still here in montgomery county, police still sort of processing this scene.nvassing, taking photographs and just kind of looking around the house. they tell us that a 21-year-old man was shot and killed yesterday. the circumstances are a bit unusual. they say they got a 911 call just before 10 o'clock from someone inside this home in the forest glen area of silver spring. the caller reportd that a suspect had that entered the home and shot the victim a it's unclear right now whether the victim lived at this house or if he was just visiting but when police got here, they found the 21-year-old man upstairs suffering from a gunshot wound. he was taken to a hospital where sadly he did pass away. so, right now still very early on in the investigation. it looks like they're sort of doing a shift change at this point possibly also waiting for some daylight so that they can get a good glimpse of what's going on around this home but that's all we know right now. as soon as we get more information we'll bring that to you. that's the latest from silver spring. back to y
