nbc bay area's monty francis is in sonoma county. and we have two meteorologists tracking the storm. jeff ranieri is looking at rainfall totals, but first we want to begin with rob mayeda. >> finally the rain has arrived in the south bay. it took about 36 hours for it to drop out of the north bay. the santa cruz mountains picking up about another inch of rain. you can see the rain still stretching into the north bay. and it's a the north bay counties tonight that will still see the flash flood watch in effect through about 9:00. that means localized flooding is still possible. which is precisely what we saw out in mill valley. and monty, we had some damage to storefronts in mill valley today. >> reporter: that's right. we're outside of a bar called the 2 a.m. club. this bar along with a taco shop, both flooded. they've put out some sandbags here in case the water starts to rise in the next few hours. now employees spent the day mopping up and disinfecting. the flooding was most severe at the back of the bar where the bathroom drains
