we got this video from the montreal gazette. this is footage of an annual protest against police brutality. and the ironic thing here is we see a lot of police trying to get this under control in what looks like a brutal fashion. >> about a thousand protesters showed up in montreal for this protest. this is the 15th annual protest against police brutality. they did start throwing bottles, rocks and things at the police. the police ended up using tear gas, pepper spray, as you can see stun grenades. but the protesters did do a lot of property damage in these protests. they actually broke bank windows, store windows, they looted stores. they actually flip this police car. 226 people were arrested during this protest. >> i wouldn't necessarily call this police brutality. i would call this police doing what they need to do to get a violent protest under corol. >> nsivti. there have been several protests in this area over the last few weeks over potential tuition hikes. a protester was severely injured in the eye during a confrontati
