we're starting off with a full moon setting in the western sky. tyke this picture at 3:00 a.m., and the moon obscured a little bit by the high clouds giving sort of a fuzzy glow to the western horizon. that moon is now beginning to set and we're probably not going to see it much tonight because the temperatures with clouds will be getting pretty warm today sweeping in from the south and west. memphis, 65 degrees. there's a huge mild air mass from the mississippi river east. closer to us, we've had temperatures in the low to mid-50s in charles and prince williams, stafford and spotsylvania as well as fairfax, montgomery, prince george's county. all around the region, low and mid-50s, including the mountains. only a few locations there down in the 40s. we do have a few of these high clouds coming in over the moon, over the shenandoah valley, and into the mountains. we'll have them coming over us off and on through the day. here's your day planner for this thursday. we'll have our temperatures soaring to the 60s by noon and clouding up this afternoon
