the teenager discovered the bodies yesterday afternoon at the family's home on country lane in lower moreland. katy zachry is live outside the lower moreland police department with more on what we should learn later today. katy fill us in. >> reporter: hi, tracy. before we get to that i can tell you we have spoken to family friends of the victims and were told the couple had three sons. they were all young, elementary or middle school. now, police say one of their sons, a 14-year-old, found his mother and father dead yesterday afternoon at 1:00. with lacerations to both their bodies. and near where they lay, investigators tell us they found a chainsaw. police are saying at least one of the deaths is a homicide. and at that time they are not looking for any suspects in this crime. it happened on huntington valley. nearby the manneighbor opened his store for a prayer vigil. >> i'm very grateful for events that the boys have extended family really taking good care of them. that's what i wish mostly for, is that they have a caring community to support them. >> reporter: and late last night the mo

police in lower moreland say a child came home to find his parents dead.fficials say the wounds are believed to be caused by a chain saw. fox 29's shawnette wilson is live in that neighborhood tonight. shawnette? >> reporter: iain investigators say that one may be or one is i should say app apparent homicide an chain saw may be the weapon. sky fox flew over the home earlier this afternoon. it is on country lane in lower mooreland. investigators say just before 1:00 this afternoon a chilling 911 call from a juvenile at the house who said he found his parents unresponsive with lacerations from a chain saw. montgomery county first assistant da kevin seal tells me the victims are 48 and 43 years old. investigators are notary loosing their names tonight. the couple reportedly has three children. the house sits far back on a road with two other homes. a forensic van pull out just about an hour ago. and back here life behind me, lower mooreland police have had this road blocked off for most of the day. autopsies are expected tomorrow. neighbors i talked to off ca

the teenager made the discovery yesterday at the family's home on country lane in lower moreland. katy zachry is live outside the lower moreland police department to tell us what happened. >> reporter: tracy, we know that this morning police are not searching for any suspects. we also know that they are withholding the names of the two victims until all the family is notified. so we are doing the same. take a look at the video, skyforce 10 was over the scene yesterday just before 1:00 when lower moreland police were called to a brutal and gruesome scene. officers arrived at 1100 country lane to find a couple in their 40s dead. a chainsaw at the scene and both bodies were covered with lacerations according to investigators. at least one of the deaths is labeled a homicide but investigators are waiting on more information from the medical examiner who is doing an autopsy today before they label the other. now, a family friend tells us there were problems in the couple's marriage. >> i know some things were going on for years, i know they had some tough times within the family. i don
