lanes are not yet opened in the south bay on 101 northbound coming out of the morgan hill. the left lane is blocked with an accident. because of the injuries it is taking a while to clear. we still have a 1.5-2 mi. stretch of 101 northbound that is still backed up tried to get into downtown san jose. looking at the bridges it is indicative of how light the traffic has been on most of the area freeways and still is. the san mateo bridge is a light and easy ride. on the golden gate we could see more traffic moving through the northbound direction. let's get another check on whether with erica. >>erica: here is another look at conditions from the golden gate bridge. a lot of sunshine but with the camera is not showing is how cold it is. frigid temperatures hovering above freezing for a lot of locations around the bay area. everyone else is in the '40's. as we head into the afternoon clear cold conditions would temperatures in the upper 40's and low 50s. the national weather service will be issuing a freeze a warning for several locations. for on that in a bit. it looks like so

morgan hill police looking for 21-year-old jose torres. they think he is responsible for at least seven home burglaries between mid december and early january in the area of san ramon drive. witnesses say they saw torres in the area at the time of some of those crimes a fingerprint lifted from one of the scenes has been matched to torres. >> after a string of violence at bars it's time to crack down. during a special meeting the council talked about taking new measures. city is thinking about hiring two new police officers and creating an ordinance to give the city more control over downtown bars and restaurants. leaders say they may also place a moratorium on alcohol licenses until there is a resolution. earlier this month police arrested seven people during a large bar brawl. >> it is 4:34 now. signs of rebuilding in san bruno this morning, 16 months after that explosion killing eight people and leveling more than three dozen homes. while progress is being made, most residents say they don't trust pg&e. at a community meeting residents j
