i still think we will see a few returns down near gilroy, morgan hill. after that, we are going to be done by today. by this afternoon, sunshine. then, heavier roun d of rain is set to move into the bay area tomorrow night into tuesday. that's where we are going to stack up with our rainfall announcement. over an inch in the north bay. close to that in san francisco. same deal for the peninsula. south bay, east bay and tri valley. everywhere you go across the bay area over the next few days, we are really going to be adding up those rainfall totals in generous amounts. not only that, we are talking about some sierra snows. today, half a foot of snow. by tonight, top up to a foot near kingvale. monday, a dry day. by tuesday, another foot of snow is expected across the sierra. two feet of snow to top it all out. this is above 4,000 feet. even across the bay area, snow levels are going to come down to 4,000 feet. this is really great news for us. rain, snow, going to continue to add up in our deficit. at least now, we are finally going the other way. temper

right here east of the morgan hill.ncentrated around the central coast, south of monterey. and looking at an additional 2 to 5 inches where right now the break around the incline. snowing at south lake. here's the golden gate bridge. you will notice this pavement here almost dried off and the rain ended in the wee hours of the morning in the north bay. anywhere from about a half-inch to santa rosa, a third of an inch toward vacaville and concord works over a half-inch, .6 in milpitas. look at miranda. and nearly a half-inch in san francisco and san jose. about a third of an inch. so some pretty shots here of the clouds right around a roof camera and the exploratorium where you see a few lingering clouds. the winds will pick up. mid-50s around the bay now. south bay cloudy and you notice it's dry. in the north bay there's fog. visibility has been reduced from santa rosa. and also along the coast. mid-50s around concord and livermore. but the visibility out in the east bay not a problem. sfo29 minutes away. we are looking

right now centrally located over morgan hill north to san jose.hat's where i wanted to start this morning. we'll move you up the east shore and show you what's taking place there. this is where the rain is the heaviest this morning. you can see all the way from san jose through fremont, still getting some pretty good rainfall. a lot is working its way into the tri-valley. i take you even further to the north and what you'll notice is we're still getting heavy pockets from san ramone through concord, antioch and even discovery bay. as i show you the coast, this is where we're starting to get a little break with light precipitation rolling through. we have more on the way, though. this is the main front coming through. by 8 closhg this morning, a lot of that activity will be out of the bay area. but had is the area i'm watching. here you go. you have this main line, the main cold front. you see these spotty clouds and counterclockwise rotation, that's the actual core of low pressure associated with this storm system. it will cross over the bay area.
