this is an unincorporated morgan hill. it's just a few minutes away from the morgan hill community park. it's right off one. so the smoke is probably visible from that area at last check from cal fire. the fire has burned 5 acres so far. it's 10% contained. and there are about. 20 homes under a mandatory evacuation evacuation order right now. and here's where that area is. people living on 0 to sycamore avenue hardy lane to tahar away are part of that mandatory evacuation. there are road closures in the area. they're also asking people to stay away from the scene as emergency vehicles are now headed to the area. the evacuation center that has been set up for those 20 homes has been opened up at the morgan hill community center. it's on monterey road in morgan hill. we're working to get more details. we have a live crew there on the scene. we'll have updates starting through during kron 4 at 5 and always on kron 4 dot com and right now our meteorologist mabrisa rodriguez is looking at the conditions in the area yet. fortuna

looking at another fire, a grass fire burning in uncorporated parts of west morgan hill. this is near the area of armsby and sleeping valley roads. evacuations were ordered for about 20 homes. cal fire says the fire is nearly five acres, but forward progress has been stopped. it's been 10% contained. chopper 5 captured images of the fire. you see how the flames burn very close to some homes right there. fire crews are using ground and air attack, dropping fire retardant to stop the spread....
