we did have some rain down here in morgan hill over the past hour. that has also started to move on out. so as we roll through the forecast here, what you'll see is these rain totals were off the charts. we got over 11in in angwin, berkeley hills 6.42, petaluma 5.39 and san francisco just over four and a half. and that was in seven days. so 1 to 2 months worth of rain for a good section of the bay area coming in that seven day range. so we need a break. i do have lots of clear skies coming our way this weekend, but the one thing we'll have to contend with here is some cold weather to start, some frost advisories and freeze warnings. in effect, temperatures 30 to 39. let me take you to the coldest valleys here in the north bay, and we'll start it off here 7 a.m. 3348 by 11 a.m. and by noon, we're at 53. coming up, we'll take another look at a storm system out here in the pacific and what it's going to mean for rain chances across california. some totals could be over four inches. i'll get that for you later on in the show. okay. thank you very much, j
