the new name comes from a title of a film by documentarian morgan spurlock. he saved the city $25,000 to change for 60 days. looks like the experiment is working. >> and now here's an early look at how wall street will kick off the day. the dow opens at 12,595 after gaining 115 points yesterday. the s&p rose 11 points. the nasdaq added 21. taking a look at overseas trading this morning, in tokyo, the nikkei climbed 133 points. but in hong kong, the hang seng lost 114. as so often seems the case these days, the pendulum swung again on wall street on tuesday and this time to the upside. a day after worries about commodities cast a weak move, a strong push of corporate results pushed all the majors to fresh highs for the year. ford reported its best first quarter since 1998. 3m posted a healthy jump in profit and raised full year expectations. u.p.s. beat the street. consumer confidence rose in april with unemployment and price worries easing. even losers were winners. delta jumped 11% after reporting a smaller loss than expected. after the bell, amazon slipped
