we move into morine county, san raphael just some verylight drizzle. but we're all in store for more rain overnight tonight. the north bay, santa rosa coming in close to an inch. and then as you go south and east, we start to drop off with some numbers. but san jose is kind of deceiving. you have .04 of an inch. you here likely going to pick up more in the next hour. current temperatures, it's chilly. we're going to hover at these numbers right now. san jose, expecting showers in about 11 minutes where you live. still diminished tomorrow and then our storms moves in late saturday through sunday. showers and thunderstorms, another one moves on shore at 8:00. we'll track another wave by 10:00 likely bringing some stronger showers not out of the question. tomorrow morning, we may still be dealing with some light showers for your friday morning rush. by midday and into the afternoon, this really tapers to just mostly cloudy skies and we begin to dry out. in terms of wet weather, how much we can expect, i think anywhere from a quarter to a half of an inch o

we have this next band of rain that is dropping in across the north bay morin county. light to mot moderate rain at times. through the tri valley. just starting to get into san jose but month more moderate to heavy rain. as we pointed out at the beginning of the news cast, almost 5 1/2 inches of rain. and they'll probably get to six overnight as this last wave comes through. the computer models bring between now and 3:00 a.m., probably another half inch or so to those hill tops there around the santa cruz mountains. this system was charged up in terms of moisture coming in off the pacific. having a really extensive moisture cap going all the way off to the north of hawaii. scooped up, plugged into the system in these atmospheric rivers. and we see them set up, especially in the costal hills as that moisture raises up in the santa cruz mountains. that can lead to inches of rainfall. we saw that less so through the valleys. but these types of patterns will be watching to hopefully make up some ground in the dryer than average start to the rainfall season so far. especial
