this is a cell responsible for the flooding there, now approaching morristown, and troy hills, you but not as intense over the berkeley heights plainfield area and dumping almost 4 inches of rain in about three hours. so they've got flash flooding happening there, and we've got storm reports from across that area right now where they have been seeing all that heavy rain. these are some of the reports. we saw some of the video and pictures from berkeley heights, multiple water rescues under way there. scotch plains roads closed on u.s. 22 between bonnie bern road and mountainsi , 22 is closed between mountain avenue and new providence road because of flash flooding. tropical moisture moving from the south, the axis here over new jersey and the hudson valley and catskills. these showers continue until at least 6:00 or 7:00. they'll start to weaken and dissipate throughout the rest of the evening. left over with sprinkles overnight. we will get some clearing tomorrow. in some spots there will e sunshine. still very muggy, still the possibility of a couple of spot showers in the afternoon.
