businessman mort zuckerman answers that question. we'll hear from him next in our fox business exclusive. more of the best of "money" coming right up. melissa: mort zuckerman, ceo of boston properties, knows a thing or two about running a successful economy and he says in this climate today taxes are his number one concern. the good news? he has plans to solve the problem. here is what he told me in our exclusive interview. >> i do think we have to absolutely must find a way to completely revamp the tax code which would broaden the base of taxes and lower the tax rates. no doubt a number of different industries have gotten special privileges, no matter how they got them, some them good, some of them not so good. that affects rates at other companies. we have to make up the loss of revenue the special privileges have granted. i would eliminate the vast bulge of them. i would broad the tax rates and lower the rates. let everybody be more competitive. think it would stimulate the economy. not only corporate america but stimulate individ

mort zuckerman is one of the wealthiest americans and editor in chief of "u.s. he was unapologetic supporter of then senator obama. in the president's first term, mr. zuckerman has done a sharp aboutface, going so far to admit it was a mistake to vote for him in the first place. his criticism is intensifying. we get to op-ed he wrote in a moment. but first here he is on hannity last night. >> they know what is going on and they know the job market is worse than what you read in the headline of 8.1%, which is misleading number unfortunately. the real problems are greater than that. one thing that is interesting is the quit rate. what that is, is people willing to quit their job because they can find other jobs. that may have been a record low. snob willing to cut the jobs, quit their job because they know they won't find another job. >> andrea: he goes on to explain in the editorial that is a reason we saw. >> greg: two things he mentioned, the quit rate is a real bright spot for jerks like alec baldwin and naomi campbell. none of their assistants will ever leave

world news, mort zuckerman. do you think people get labor participation rate? don't understand it. the people that are underemployed and people have given up a job, they have spouses and friends and they have children. they know what is going on they know the job market is much worse than the headline number which is misleading number unfortunately because the real problems are much greater than that. >> sean: if the labor participation rate was the same as obama took office, it would be 11.2%. should romney be using that figure in his battle against obama or is it too complicated? >> i don't think it's too complicated. he should find some reasonable way to express what the real unemployment numbers are. as i say, they'll be a resonance out there in the country. one of the things that are interesting is called the quit rate. people are willing to quit their job because they can find their jobs. nobody is willing to quit that job because they now they won't find another job. people will understand, even if they are working that the job market is terrible. >> sea
