looking here as well at rockville, have some lanes blocked there. 95 here at morton road, nice sheen on the roadway. >> thank you, melissa. >>> now to that developing news in southwest, where police are investigating a deadly car fire. news 4's derrick ward just arrived on the scene. what is going on? >> reporter: well, we can tell you now that that scene has cleared. there won't be a problem for your morning commute. but there is an investigation into what happened here. we're on main avenue near the intersection with raoul wallenberg police. 11:30 last night, they got a call of a report of a fire here. what they have determined is that there was a car traveling south on raoul wallenberg when it failed to make the turn on independence and went into the tree. took down some of the fence posts there. and ended up in the grassy area and caught fire. they say there was one fatality male in the car, but they haven't determined if it was a crash from the fire that caused this death. that is the ensuing investigation. this being such an important commuter route, they cleared this scene lon
