mother nature will do what mother nature will do. the best that you and i can do is continually repeat to people and remind people that these storms can cause this kind of damage. you ought to heed these warnings. congratulations to governor h l haley and christie and others who, whether or not the storm was going to make landfall or not, they recognized they'd have the flooding and these problems and asked people to get prepared for it. the problem is people don't heed the warnings. >> as you said at the outset, they hear the hurricane is not touching us, it's going to be a good soaking, and that's it. a lot of these folks are very vulnerable since, you know, a number of other hurricanes, sandy comes to mind, that obviously compromised the shorelines and they're hardly back up to speed. you would think the better part of valor is, with that much rain on the way, maybe you should get out of dodge and see what happens, right? >> that is the wisest thing to do. the sad part is the next story that we can probably do, neil, will be that
