relationship with our department has been around for a long time but was never formalized until this mou approximately one year ago. one of the benefits of the mou it is we are able to track and the programs together in the same database, so we know month over month, year over year, exactly how we are doing. i also have with me the president of the board of friends of the sharon arts studio. i have our rec and park manager of the facility as well, and the administrative director. if you have questions for them. the new agreement basically continues but we were doing before with one fundamental change, and that is, in the past, the department was picking up the cost of publishing a brochure that goes out to about 2000 people. friends of the sharon arts studio has 500 paying members. they have a mailing list with 2000 people on it. those folks get the catalog mailed to them. in addition, the catalog is made available at as many rec and park facilities as we can so that people that are not members have access to their programs as well. the change in the new agreement is friends of the sharo

in terms of the mou's, these are our interagency agreement for the large projects. and the original projection was based some money coming in from mta. i think it is actually coming from the federal government for the central subway project, and that is going to be delayed until around august. so that will go on into next fiscal year. i am not very concerned about the fact that we have only received about 56% of what we originally estimated. in terms of the expenses, as you know, the majority of our expenses are related to personnel. we have been trying to fill positions. in fact, we have about 20 requisitions i got approved last friday that proposes a challenge for us. some of those are tested already and we are waiting for results. some of them there are not in the testing, so we will have to move through a process to hire the people, that we're getting recognition from the mayor's office and from dhor that -- from dhr that it is vital to provide the service. non-personnel-related expenses, yes or not particularly concerned about this one either, because a lot of

we really work with the protective parent, and we do have mou's with many of the individuals that have presented today, foster care mental health, child crisis, police. we also have one with adult probation. they call us when someone we have been working with has been convicted or is getting out of prison or jail. we work with the d.a. we work with victim witness, our resource centers, our multi- disciplinary interview, which we all for dissipate in. we also have team decision- making meetings and family team meetings where we come together and bring everybody to the table. the parents, supportive families, supportive friends, and agencies, to see if we can make a planned so that the family can be an architect of what is going to happen to their families. we also have, with recurring cases, we make sure that on each file, we have a purple star, so as the case comes back in and a social worker picks up the case, they immediately can recognize that this is a family that has previous or current domestic violence, and in our referrals before social workers go out, it is in our alert so we
