we have two mous that we signed with academic and research institutions and the department of police accountability working with the controller's office doing an audit on some of our practices and that will be an ongoing thing due to the laws changing on that issue. we also have the agreement that you all are aware of with the california department of justice to reinstitute our reform initiative. right now we are in the process of developing the work plan of what have that looks like and working with the california department of justice represented from the police commission and the police department, so that is another outside entity looking at our practice, so to get back to the basis of your question, internally we have to have a mechanism to inspect. we are also in a budget and will respect civilian personnel to help do that. some departments have combination of sworn and civilian this was units and i think that is a good combination. in terms of deployment practice. we instituted a deployment unit that looks at deployment city wide and keeps an eye on that. that is partially sta
