i do not propose to amend either the projector the mou except as necessary to reflect my amendments. my intent for these amendments today is to update resolution to reflect funds already raised. the project is $3.3 million at this time. this is consistent with standard practice by the board of supervisors to except and expand process. i am not comfortable setting a new standard with an open-ended accept and expand. this is a bit much like a blank check in the sense we are having someone raise funds on the city's behalf without knowing where those funds come from. as additional funds continue to be raised i expect more resolution will come before consideration at this committee. again, i do reference the mayor's letter. i don't know what that means in terms of implementation of the mou for asking more funds for the project. colleagues, it is my understanding that these changes are non substantive and that the port is amendable to them. i want to say i look forward to having the ports confirm that, too. my staff has distributed these amendments to you. i always read for the record. pag
