and for me, i was a student leader at central michigan university in mount pleasant, michigan, and i went there because my grandfather, who was present at central university and i wanted go to michigan state because in my family went to the university of michigan, including my dad, to law school there. so i didn't want to really go to central and my parents were smarter than me in my dad in particular, and my mother as well said, look, if you go to central for one year, you can go anywhere you want. after that, knowing full well if i went the for a year, i wouldn't want to probably go anyplace else. and in fact, i didn't. so i was involved in student government at that point. i was head and president of association for women students. we had deans of women deans of men. and i then became president of the student senate. and one of the things that bothered me so much was in local prentice, which means the university is supposed take care of you as my grandfather explained to me, the thing is, if we want the women to be, we tell them that they have to go to their dorms or whatever at 1

i was thinking of highway 17 and the expansion in mount pleasant south carolina a number of years ago. the frustration i felt as the chairman of the county, waiting for all of the red tape to be cut so that we could simply turn it shovel and a project that has been approved for years. i spent notes to my friends on the county council to make sure i was right about the seven year process. it can take up to two years for the planning and programming just to meet federal thresholds so projects can start. after you do that, it can take up to three years and environmental challenges and the further green new steel and you recognize -- steal and you recognize it takes seven years. when you get the price up a highway project, several hundred million dollars, it is not anticipated that seven years later, somehow miraculously that same road project will cost the same amount of money 70 years later. that is what we call in south carolina, ridiculous, hogwash. it doesn't work that way. nothing of that is anticipated in the price people pay waiting and waiting and waiting for the federal governme

mount tam to the left there. so the marine layer is getting shallow. and that's allowing temperatures inland to heat up exactly what we were talking about the last couple of days. very pleasantund the bay though. so what i wanted to show you here was tomorrow is going to be the hottest day of the week. and what we have is the heat coming out of the desert southwest, that big high. so it fills in the valley pretty quick. we are fortunate enough here in the bay area proper that we have a sea breeze, and we will continue. you saw in that live picture just so we have a sea breeze that will continue to blow mild, cool air into the bay, but not much past that. so, you know, even san jose is going to get up into the upper 90s tomorrow on the hottest day. but we will still, if you can't stand the heat and you don't like that heat advisory, and if it's somewhere you don't want to be, just head over to the bay, go over to oakland, or go over to san francisco or sausalito and it'll be nicer the peak temperatures tomorrow, and then it cools off pretty quickly on saturday. and then hovers in sunday. so on saturday, sunday will be kind of pleasant part of the weekend. and again, it's not
