california mountains. if you're doing traveling, keep that in mind. they're now opened, despite the fact that the snow showers continue and keep that in mind and here is a beautiful viewthe southbeach cam and it's taken a while for the blue sky to show up this afternoon. we did have measurable drizzle this morning and about .08 of an inch and half moon bay and sfo and a couple hundreds of an inch and the exploratorium camera showing clouds over the financial district and temperatures in the low 60s and 65 san jossy and it is currently 67 degrees in half moon bay and the san jose camera will show you peaks of blue and san jose will make it up into the 60s and ranging from the mid-50s to low 70s today and 68 in napa and livermore, mid-60s and showing you some cloud cover and you may be seeing drizzly drops and we'll call it spotty drizzle, sunnier and milder for your saturday and sunday and turning cooler and not a lot just a little bit of a drop in the numbers and the area of low pressure is finally going to kick on out of here and when it does high pressure builds in just enough to provide us with a warmer pattern for the first half of the weekend. computer animation

california. there's reports of snow in burney. still gusts to 35 at sfo. not too bad at mountain view. west at 8. of mine dan, he lived in mountain view, menlo park. now he lives overseas. he came home for a wedding. he landed and said oh, my gosh. it's freezing here. said oh, man, it's cold here. just this month. northwest at novato to 25 miles per hour. concord, 20. concord due west 16. a bunch of 40s. i do believe -- now, again, it could haven't colder but i did see a 42. north napa, 42 degrees this morning. the water temps, once they turn cold, boy did our pattern change. they are still holding steady. that system will kill out. it's giving us sunshine. but really below average temps. here is the next system coming in. and there lies the rub, as we say. wednesday night i think we'll cloud it up. rain totals could be .25 to .30. maybe .50. there are a few projections near an inch. today it's sunshine after a few low clouds around. but it's going to be sunny for almost everybody today. breezy to windy, below average temps for many. clearlake is only 68. that's amazing. a couple of very soft 70s

california. could be a few isolated showers. the low is rotating around. 50s on the temps. warmer ocean temps have brought some of these up. mountain view, sfo. we had 40s about a week ago. that's not the case. still a breeze. it's an onshore breeze. temperatures are hard-pressed to warm up that much. a lot of activity even down to southern california, even to las vegas. looking for 77 high today. some off-and-on rain. a lot of clouds. low and high. breezy at times. maybe a little drizzle. nothing compared to what we had yesterday. could be hit-and-miss shower today. i will mention that for inland areas. 60s and 70s. sal, kind of quiet in the weather department. >>> yeah, we have commutes we're keeping an eye on. we'll start off with the eastshore freeway and 80 westbound as you head out between the carquinez bridge and the macarthur maze. a 19-minute run. it's lightert than usual at the bay bridge toll plaza. there's a little bit of a slowdown here in some of these lanes but for the most part, it has been much lighter getting into san francisco. we've also been looking at some of the other commutes around the bay. look at the eastshore
