thank you it reminds me, if you had an opportunity to go to some of our national parks and my family from tennessee by smokey mountain uc all the work that pa did back then. it was an incredible time. it was the depression certainly that was one of the programs. you bring up a point of public service. and how important that is. it gives us an opportunity to say thank you to all of those who serving in our military. who are literally the world keeping us safe. i talked about earlier whether to go to college or defend the college. those who put their life on hold to go in defend our country, it was an incredible moment we say thank you for what they do. and they give the ultimate and never come home. but certainly for those who have a loved one, my son served there certainly knights you stay awake thinking are they safe? we've had this discussion. there some better talk about that opportunity for public service to retire some of the debt for student loans. that is been talked about quite a bit. the idea that we all pitch together, think the contest there is one that has to be revisited. we look at other countries aroun

park on san bruno mountain. we're ready for the rain to come in. it's the red scan you're seeing there and it's scanning a smaller area than you see from the nationalvice radar. better detail of the rain as it moves in. this rain will be very spotty today. out ahead of that some high wind gusts really picking up. check out san francisco, gusts at 38 miles an hour. elsewhere it's about 15 to 20, up to 25, close to that in santa rosa. the winds will be gusty this morning as the cold front moves in. let's go hour by hour and talk about when that rain arrives. we're going to start to see spotty rain for parts of the north bay. here we are at 1:30 and not most of the bay area will see those showers yet. moving into coastal sonoma county and sonoma at 1:30, 2:00. very light, spotty rain at about 7:00. and still a lot of the bay area missing out on that, but it looks like we could start to see heavier cells moving in around midnight and some may contain heavy downpours along with thunder and lightning. we'll watch out for that with the possibility of this very cold rain coming through. tomorrow we take a break from the rain and then as we head into sunday
