has played and for now he certainly has had a one over victory on naturally bennett who's decided not to quit and do you think mr lieberman will come back again in any shape or form or is he now politically a spent force. well we'll have to wait and see what the reaction is that many people will tell you that his come out of this quite strongly is the former defense minister he stuck to his guns he said he was going to resign and he did that naftali bennett on the other hand also very much a right wing minister playing to a right wing base even though he criticized netanyahu extensively and up to all the threats he said that he would be resigning if he wasn't handed the defense minister post or was coming across slightly weak i suppose by now backing off extensively after all those ultimatums all the noise he made all the criticism that he does remain in government so we're going to have to wait and see how he fares in the next elections but some people will say the way they read this is that it probably won't be doing him any favors in the polls stephanie thanks very much still to come here on al-jazeera.
