mr. lee, is bad enough to palm tensions? or is it not enough at the moment, tensions are so flared? >> i don't think it will be enough. it is clear the parents of the young mr. martin are looking for the arrest of mr. zimmerman. they think the police have dropped the ball. it may have momentarily calmed the waters come up there looking for far more. they think they're being treated unfairly as far as mr. zimmerman remaining free, outside of arrest. >> what should be done? this was all about george zimmerman not being charged, but there was some question about the "stand your ground" law. effectively, it was not wrong for mr. zimmerman to be arrested? >> the "stand your ground" law is part of a larger law that allows people to defend themselves with weapons inside of their homes. the "stand your ground" law is in addition to that that says that you could use lethal force us out of your home and you could not have to be retreating, you can be pursuing somebody who you felt was a threat to your self in terms of a deadly threat. it is interesting, though, because the drafters of this law in florida contend that what mr. zimmerman apparently may have done is

mr. zimmerman who shot this young man trayvon martin? >> i think that they are in the minority.ronically, it is many different types of people. the racial issue is obvious and well covered. his parents point out that this is as much about right and wrong as much as it is about anything else. and about accountability. everyone should be concerned. that is what we are seeing. generally, the people i have been speaking to are absolutely astonished. they are appalled at what happened. >> how did they explain why it has taken so long since this happened? >> this is one of the big mysteries. i think it is because in a way, there is a lack of accountability for the police. there are other counties where of course, it it should be the state attorney's office that has the prosecutorial discretion. the stand your ground defense has raided a huge ambiguity. they are trying to see if they could get away with it and you could see it over the duration of time that the chief stayed in there. even at this time, he is only temporarily detached. i think it is about accountability and i think that

mr. zimmerman, according to the young lady's statement. and in fact, even according to zimmerman's 911 tape, he says, he's running away from me. so we realize that child is retreating. >> let me push you a little bit then. >> go i ahead. >> because, let's take the young lady's statement away, because you are right, she hasn't testified yet. let's put that aside. let's put aside the witnesses. let's go on the 911 tapes that we hear zimmerman himself, where he describes what is going on. if he said something contrary to the police, that has not faced interrogation. so i'm saying, based on the evidence they have, which is the 911 tapes, they have more than enough for probable cause because the probable cause cannot be cancelled by a statement by the girlfriend or by zimmerman. because zimmerman is not a prayer book either. so whatever zimmerman might have said, they cannot make an arrest or not make an arrest biensd that when they have clear evidence of him saying he was pursuing the guy and the guy was running against him. let me play the ta
