"outfront" mr. light foot.rn the details of the case until the video was released. why do you think it took so long for you and the public to find out about this? who dropped the ball? >> first of all, thank you for having me on your show. i just want to say that my condolences and my heart felt prayers goes to the prude family first and foremost. this was a devastating blow that was dealt to our city, a traumatic blow, that has been dealt to our city. and we're trying to unpack it as we speak. we found out about this on wednesday -- counsel found out about this on wednesday, and i immediately called for a briefing from the mayor and the administration to brief counsel on what transpired. as we were told, that information was given to the mayor by the police chief and corporate counsel, city's corporate counsel, advised her not to speak to the matter to counsel. so, that was what we were told in our briefing. of course a lot of our counselors, including myself, were highly upset, very upset about this going on
