mr. barnett's family and members of the postal workers union came to the mlk memorial to rally. they don't believe postal workers should still be delivering when it's dark and they're now walking down to l'enfant plaza where the postal service is located to push their point that postal workers should not be out after dark. like many postal carriers, 26- year-old tyson barnett of upper marlboro was finishing his route after dark saturday november 23rd when he was gunned down in what may have been a robbery attempt. two months later police are still working on the case but no arrests. the union, bar net's family and friends continue to call for changes so no one has to deliver the nail after dark for safety reasons. >> we've had enough. we're drawing a line in the sand. we're not going to take it anymore. this needs to be changed. >> reporter: police are hoping someone comes forward in the case. there's a $125,000 real ward offered for an arrest leading -- reward offered for an arrest leading to a conviction. >> he didn't bother anybody. everybody loved him and the postal workers

mr. barnett truly regrets the actions to which he has pled guilty. >> reporter: 19-year-old matt barnett agreed to a misdemeanor child endangerment conviction for leaving a drunken teenage girl back in the cold. that victim was 14 at the time. she said she went to a party and was given alcohol and then matt, then 17, raped her. matt said the sexous consensual. the prosecutor said she could not prove coleman's allegation was true. the case drew national attention when the first prosecutor dropped it. some claimed barnett's prominent family was given special treatment but his attorney says that is not true. >> there's absolutely no evidece that political favoritism played a role in the decision of either prosecutor. >> reporter: coleman's family said she was recently bullied online and in a facebook posting her mother said coleman had recently attempted suicide. the federal prosecutor read a statement from the girl. i'm grateful the defendant took responsibility by pleading guilty to the charges. i'm ready to move forward. >> reporter: barnett was sentenced to two years' probation. he was
