mr. derrick brett and he said something interesting about the state attorney who by the way who has finally just two days ago just interviewed this witness. the state attorney has decided this witness needed to be interviewed but derrick brett said what was unusual about the interview is the lack of thoroughness that he saw in the state's investigation. have a listen. did you feel confident that the state attorney was thorough in its questioning of your client? >> if this was -- if this was a first time questioning session, then i would be very concerned. these gentlemen had affidavits, an affidavit for my client from before. they -- he had at least whatever notes had been taken by the lead sanford investigator which i could be critical of that investigation and that questioning. i can state that. but it's difficult to surmise exactly what the state attorney's office and their two investigators that were called down from the jacksonville state attorney's office knew at that point. so do i think there could have been other questions asked? yes. do i -- was i in any position to help them fill

brett describes. the idea it is massively expensive needs to be corrected a little bit. >> mr. schaffer, you have written on this subject. >> the fact is there are 16 countries in the united nations that comprise the geneva group. those 16 countries pay about 80% of the u.n.'s regular budget. u.s. pays 22% of the u.n.'s regular budget. those 16 countries pay a little over 86% of the u.n. peacekeeping budget. u.s. pays 28.1% of that. yet these 16 countries are routinely overwritten when it comes trying to reform the organization, trying to make the organization better managed, trying to reorient the resources in the budget towards task that are relevant, not dube la ca tive and -- duplicative and not proven to be effective. when you look at the way the bunt works, it has to be passed by two-thirds of the general assemblies. the 128 countries that can pass the budget, the countries that pay the least to the united nations, pay just a little over 1% of that budget. so in theory, 128 countries can pass the budget over the objectives of countries paying almost 99% of the budget. tha

i spoke with the district attorney, brett ligon, a few moments ago. mr.r joining us. what can you tell us about the woman who has been charged with capital murder? >> it's verna mcclain. and miss mcclain has been charged with capital murder. and capital murder is a felony in the course of committing a murder. it's something we take very seriously. and part of it, we are asking that ms. mcclain be given no bond. >> has she confessed? >> she has given a statement to the sheriff's department. we charged her last night, early hours this morning, with capital murder. >> did she give you a motive? had she planned this? has she specifically targeted this woman? >> there were statements, as indicated in the arrest record, that were made by ms. mcclain that led us to believe that, in fact, this was an intentional act on her part. and not that ms. golden was targeted specifically. but that this was part of a plan to kidnap a child. >> and that child, 3 days old, keegan. physically, the baby's fine? >> the baby's fine. we were able to recover keegan last night. it w
