[applause] mr. buckley: tonight's dinner is a chance to pause and reflect on the year we have had. while we have plenty of work to do, new hampshire democrats have a lot to celebrate. this year we celebrated and have sworn in the first ever all democratic, all-female congressional delegation in american history. mr. buckley: eleanor roosevelt was a fearless fighter for justice. her entire life was spent working to make the world a better place for all. for more than a quarter of a century, the new hampshire democratic party has been honoring an outstanding woman who has fought hard and succeeded in providing an opportunity for success in life, regardless of their circumstances. this year's recipient of the eleanor roosevelt award embodies eleanor's spirit. during her decades of service in our community in the house and senate, her record is exemplary.

mr. buckley. as best as i can tell, he is a real singular talent for the democratic party. no, seriously. he runs a tight ship. as someone new to the scene, he runs a tight ship, he represents you well. and we are blessed to have you as a democrat around this country. [applause] rep. delaney: you make us all feel very welcome. thank you. almost two weeks ago, we started taking our country back. we started taking our country back. we did it with terrific candidates like joyce craig, like so many other people, like the governor-elect of virginia. and these people ran by doing two things. they tapped into the energy that exists in our party right now, but they also talked to people about what they care about. campaignnot just run a saying how bad the republicans were and how bad the president is. there is a real lesson to be learned from these campaigns that i really hope we don't forget. because we are in a tough spot right now as a nation. not across the long-term. i am a huge optimist about the long-term prospects of this amazing country. if you think about how the world is

mr. buckley and mr. cole and the city family are going to give you hope and keep their word and help you. i don't have that hope with miss woo after i heard she put another person at risk in a unit we thought was vacant. the plan around let's spend 200 k to "make them legal" because there's no stove, after hearing that doesn't hold water with me. i couldn't trust judy woo as far as i can throw her. i would trust the city and trust the fact that we have your interests in mind and you're going to get comparable units and i would support the staff recommendation and again, hearing it was another person put at risk when she knew they were being put at risk sealed the deal for me. >> commissioner moore. >> this is not only heartwrenching but probably the most difficult thing we have ever did. there's the human side, which all of us are 500% on target, but then there's the reality. and in addition to what commissioner richards eloquently summarized, there's the others. i did not expect to hear other neighbors

mr. buckley and ms. cohen will provide more information on brilliant corners. the tenants may find housing independent of the property owners or brilliant corners. lastly, all affected households are provided and find long-term housing. to that end, we'll work with the mayor's office, city attorney's office and homelessness and supportive housing to sequence the projects and construction negating harmful impacts. this will route back to planning department prior to issuance. once it's complete, will be routed to the other agencies for review without planning department approval. once they retain the approval, they will be sent back to planning. planning will coordinate with the agencies present to ensure that the households have been offered comparable housing. at that time, it will be routed back to dvi for issuance. the property owner created 34 illegal units at 12 different properties, more than triple the number of legal units. the city is able to legalize 22 units in addition to the 15, but that leaves 12 units that cannot be legalized under the planning c
