mr. collins' dna is on the item. >> the prosecutor told jurors surveillance video and dna from to the men was found on bandannas and latex gloves. the defense does not think the prosecution proved its case beyond a reasonable doubt. >> the state simply analyze everything the defense said, which in my opinion, begs the question. the question is, had he proved your case beyond a reasonable doubt? i think the state did not do its job. >> the prosecutor argued that the lives of the three men are not at stake, because it is not a death penalty case. a jury must now decide if three young men committed the murder and robbery. >> no way of knowing specifically how long it will take. with three codefendants with 29 counts each, they are going to discuss each one as tentatively as they were in trial. i would be shocked if it came back today. we only have a couple more hours a day. it could be days, or they could be so convinced of one point that it could be 20 minutes, for all i know. >> it was not 20 minutes, the jury was sent home after two hours of deliberation. it will be back on monday to cont

mr. collins? i am is asking them to get each one of the defendants and determine which evidence applies to which defendant, if there is any evidence at all that applies to the defendants. >> prosecutors said the mask found following the robbery and murder contained dna evidence. investigators believe williams was the shooter, but in his closing argument, he did not know exactly who pull the trigger. >> instead of arguing to the jury that we have proved the case beyond reasonable doubt, they just analyze what the defense said. they backed off from the original theory. >> the prosecution attack the arguments of the defense, calling them an alternative theory. this is not a death penalty trial. he said the only one facing a death sentence was kent harris, and that sentence was carried out in 2008. the defense hopes jurors will question it. >> you are always worried about that. that is why dealt with it as much as i did on closing. there is a stigma attached to dna that it is the be all and end all. y
