[laughter] >> host: we're here to talk to you about previewing some of the fall books. who do you have coming up? >> guest: well, i think we have three books that are of particular note to your viewers. in august we are publishing jeffrey toobin's book about patty hearst, her kidnapping, what she did while she was in the sudanese liberation army. jeff too bin, as i think people know, is a new yorker staff writer and the author of several bestsellers, the oath and also the book on the o.j. simpson case recently made into a television series. and what is so fantastic about this book from my perspective is everyone as in any era, oh, we're living through this terribly tumultuous times, but in the 1970s there were an average of 500 terrorist -- 1500 terrorist bombings every year. of course, nixon was being impeached, there was political turmoil, economic malaise, and in the midst of this, this fan fantastically sensational crime happened. patty hearst was kidnapped and two months later declared she was not to be known as tonya. the story has amazing twists and turns. for on
