the only tone changes with ed lee right now is the tone of skin color around the city here and the way his attitude is towards things. i have known mr. ed lee for over 27 years. i kind of parallel my reputation 20 years involved with this thing here, and i have seen a deterioration of public access to city government. so i am going to ask for a hearing on community reform. basically, how we can connect a disconnected city government back to the government taking care of our neighborhoods. i understand that the mayor's office, the neighborhood has dismantled. well, we need something else to replace that. committed to reform committee or something, to find out what city government is doing for our city communities. the other thing is, i think that the mayor's 10-year plan, as the gentle man said, the kennedy do not know what the hell is going on. they have no idea. there needs to be some hearings with the city and county on what this neighborhood services is doing. i go back to neighborhood services because in my community, there is a disconnect on neighborhood services. dcyf, oewd, and part bang and rec. the reason is, there's no com

mr. mayor, at the inauguration of our new mayor, ed lee. >> he is here. >> the first chinese-american mayor of san francisco. this is quite a remarkable thing. we're very proud of him. i was just with him, so he's probably taking the longer route into this room. but at that time, and you will tell him i said this, that day summed up all san franciscans. he spoke of taking challenges, embracing risks and embrace to all those gathered today. when you come to washington, you bring with you the hopes, the aspirations and the priorities of the american people. when you speak, congress and the president listens. because mayors confront our country's challenges at the ground level. as was mentioned, my father and my brother were mayors. ha there is no buffer between a mayor and his or her con stastate. pay the bills and put food on the table. every day you see impacts made on the lives of working families. mayors recognize that investments in our cities and education and job training and clean energy, intrastructure, community development are investments in our community. and you know what's best

mr. ginsberg, and the audiovisual presentation was great. i noticed there was a cameo appearance of the newly elected mayor ed lee in there.lso heard he mentioned community would not always be involved in our parks. that comment hit me because, coming to san francisco for the past 35 years, the equestrian community has always been a part of san francisco, historically and culturally. ironically, they have been aborted out of san francisco. kind of the way it does politics, if it is something that is not 100% politically correct, they just abort it. the politics of abortion. that is what we are experiencing here in san francisco. basically, we have run out of time listening to you folks dillydally around. 2012, we are going to impact the recreation and parks commission. we are going to impact your lives, just as you have impacted hours. we are going to reconnect you to nature and to what is important, which is this moment. not living in some historical fantasy about we want to change things 50 years after the fact. not going to happen. thank you very much for your time. have a great day. >> thank you. >> is there anyone els
