mr. fisher, iing you would like to add? colleagues, we are in receipt of a statement from the tjpa. is there anybody here from the tjpa who would like to say anything? okay. so i would like to respond to the statement before we open this up to public comment. the president of the tjpa board, mohamed nuru, shared his statement with me yesterday. i think he -- i don't want to put words in his mouth, but i think he appreciates the findings of this d.t.x. expert peer review. i think we all agree this project is of critical importance to the region, the megaregion, and the state. of the two points raised in his statement as we move forward together, i would like to echo and clarify what i believe is our intent at the transportation authority. first, on the strategy and collaborative manner of work that the panel recommends, this one needs to be a truly regionalized process. we heard very clearly from the expert peer review panel that we need to reposition, reset the project, and confirm its business case. it will involve a hard look at the funding and phasing of d.t.x. to ensure its comp
