mr. rogoff: s anthony foxx were here he would be talking about the imperative of the grail america act in the next few months. many of you know last year, the administration submitted a four-year $302 billion bill so , we can get away from all of these incremental extensions that number some 32 separate extensions that have been milking the program along for the last several years. last year we submitted a $302 billion four-year bill and what we got was frozen funding for 10 months. under president obama's leadership, we are doubling down. we are going to be submitting a six year 480 billion bill that will bring overall funding that is closer to 60% and we say precisely what part of the tax code we would amend to pay for it. we would get money to augment the highway trust fund. we have sent to congress if they do not like it, we are open to talking to others. but we need to act. why are we pushing the grow america act so hard? we are doing it because we looked into the future and we can see what happens if we don't change our transportation policies and we don't change our funding traject

foxx: thank you, mr. speaker. i rise today to talk about the united nations and what can only be described as its increasingly outrageous actions on the world stage. how else would you describe planning a conference on gender equality, feminism and sexual violence that -- invited only men to participate? or telling the catholic church that its pro-life stance equals psychological torture? well, last week the united nations really went off the deep end when the commission on status of women adopted a resolution that singles out and condemns israel for violating the right to women. that's right, the commission condemned a country that has guaranteed women equality and work, education, health and social welfare for more than 60 years. it denounced a country where rape, including spousal rape, is a felony punishable by 16 years in prison whose ministry of social affairs operates battered women shelters and a hotline for reporting abuse and whose parliament passed nearly 50 initiatives to promote gender equality and em

foxx: thank you, mr. speaker. last month the obama administration admitted that it sent inaccurate tax forms to 820,000 americans who receive health insurance through obamacare. individuals who receive subsidies must fill out the 1095-a form to document what they received for the past year. the government is advising people not to file their tax returns until they have the correct forms, but just last week kevin, the man responsible and accountable for leading health care.gov declined to say when obamacare participants will get the correct tax forms and if all the new forms have been created. since its implementation, the president's health care law has proved to be a hindrance not a help to the health care market. this debacle is yet another example of why we must continue to work towards repealing this ill-conceived law and replacing it with policies that empower patients and promote access to affordable health care options. i yield back. the speaker pro tempore: the gentlelady yields back. for what purpose does
