mr. goebel. >> i wanted to bring you up to date for renewable energy expert. the deadline for submissions closed on october 18th and we received servreceive seven prope hope to issue a prequalified list of firms in early december. this is the easy part of the work. and before we can even bring on a consultant, lafco needs to determine exactly what the scope of work is going to be. and so as you mentioned in winston's report that there are a lot of opportunities and ideas in it that need to be scoped out. and i'm hoping that we can hand some of this to the consultants. so in the next few months, i'll work with you and your staff and the p.u.c. and the department of environment and other city departments, and other stakeholders to figure out what the scope of work should be for the consultant. and then i'll come back at our next meeting in january with some options. >> chairperson fewer: thank you very much. i believe that -- let's open this up for public comment? any members of the public to comme

mr. bryan goebel, and mr. winston parsons. >> thank you, madam chair, bryan goebel, executive officer. i'm pleased to introduce our cleanpowersf intern winston parsons who is going to present his report "advancing equity and community investment in clean power s.f.." shortly after i started, one of the priorities at lafco quickly became trying to get a sense of what other c.c.a.s are doing, especially when it comes to advancing equity. and we also really wanted to search for some really great ideas, bold ideas, on how we can meet the city's renewable energy and electricity goals, putting equity front and center. so i asked winston to take a really deep dive and this report and presentation today is the culmination of eight months of hard work. some of the findings are very concerning, but also present an opportunity. and i hope that this report will lay the foundation for some of the work lafco will be undertaking in the coming year as we expand the m.o.u. funds from the p.u.c. and bring on a consultant to help to steer us. i want to really thank winston for all of his work on this. an
