we will start with mr. gregg. mr. gregg: the first thing we need to do in indiana is to take a look at how we are doing our training right now. i have employers tell me they never talk about taxes, they talk about needing employees. we are doing training through the governor's office. some sort of workforce development office. some through ivy tech. there is not a lot of communication. i think we can do a better job if we have all of these groups talking to one another so we find out what is working, what is not working, and what we are training people for. another thing is the state's adding processes have been changed where they really work to a detriment of the small business owner, people with disabilities and minorities. and veterans. the bids are too big for startups to bid on. we are going to make it easier for those folks to access. moderator: thank you. mr. bell, it is your turn. mr. bell: when we talk about unemployment, and we look at it when everybody is involved, people without disabilities have a leg up o

mr. gregg: hoosiers are working harder and harder and getting less and less. talk to your neighbors. you will see many of them are working two jobs. my background is working for two fortune 500 companies and is a small businessman -- that is when we put together a proposal that focuses on high wage jobs. and that is where i will stay focused. and in five areas we have high growth and high wage job potential. this is in life sciences and biosciences and it is also in information technology. it is in the 21st century logistic and an advanced manufacturing. if we stay focused on those areas, take politics out of those areas and better align our educational system with the job demands, we can still that skilled job gap that we have and we can move indiana forward. the status quo isn't getting it and that is not acceptable anymore. we can do better in indiana. mr. bell: certainly, when we talk about higher wages, job competition is the best thing we can do. when we attract more businesses, businesse
