mr. gutierrez: thank you. the speaker pro tempore: the chair recognizes the gentleman from oklahoma, mr. lankford, for five minutes. mr. lankford: mr. speaker, i ask unanimous consent to revise and extend my remarks. the speaker pro tempore: without objection. mr. lankford: thank you. abortion is one of the most divisive issues in america. one side sees the child in the womb is nothing like tissue, like a skin mold and no one can tell a woman if she can have that tissue removed from the body. and one sees it sucking its thumb, possessing unique d.n.a. and asks the question -- how can that not be a child? the debate about life will not be resolved today. though for the sake of millions who will die in the womb in abortion clinics i wish it could have been resolved yesterday. h.r. 3, that we'll be discussing all day today, asks the question -- should the federal government ever use taxpayer dollars to use or supplement abortions? isn't it common sense not to force a person who is passionately opposed to the death
