comes days after kevin hart steps down from hosting the oscars after a series of anti-gay tweets, and joining me is cnn contributor and washington post national political reporter, mrest. is there a difference we see between what kyler murray is apologizing for and what kevin hart is apologizing for? >> certainly. i tend to think so. there are two initial things up front. first, i think it's a good thing the way we talk in public about lgbt people, the language has changed even just from four or five years ago, and that's a good thing, right? in the kyler murray case, this is a case where a young teenager sent jokes back and forthwith their friends and that kid becomes a public figure, and the joke between your high school buddies are not going to look so good when you have a massive platform. what is different with kevin hart, they were not just tweets but segments of his standup comedy, and he was already a well-known comedian who was choosing to employ this type of language as part of his bit. he was an adult making a conscious decision about his comedy and artwork and that opens it up to scrutiny. >> i think there's a big difference here. kevin hart, he had it
