mr.? ms. lerner: thank you for the opportunity to testify about our work with was a box for it given the limitations my statement will focus on three areas. an overview of progress made in the past year, and some areas of ongoing concern. starting with our role osc helps employeees. there are several processes for these cases. if an employee discloses a concert or violation of law, and it needs a standard of review, it is sent to the agency. after investigation, it reported symptom of office. the whistleblower is given the opportunity to comment. i determine whether report contains information are by statute and whether the findings appear to be reasonable. this includes weather appropriate action has been taken. i said information in her findings to the president and congress. that is the process for disclosures. osc protects workers from limited practices. unlike disclosure cases osc conducts investigations. we can get really for the employee including the state of any disciplinary action, reversin

mr. koskinen told us as the irs commissioner was false. remember, martha, it was very simple. we have duly issued subpoena for the lois lerner emails internally at the irss they had a preservation order. even those two things were in place the irs destroyed documents. you can't do that imagine if the irs had summoned you to produce documents and you said well, we went ahead and destroyed them, what would the irs do to you? then they didn't clarify the record. they said that they have provided everything to congress. but then they didn't. the inspector general went in and independent group went in found more than 1000 emails we have contacted with. so they have provided false documents, or false statements to congress. and we're going to hold these people responsible. martha: what next? >> well, we're very much looking forward to senate finance. senator or return hatch has been on top of this in the senate. they are poise toed introduce, i think a bipartisan report, at least a report, hopefully that happens sooner rather than later. we want to see what the senate comes up with as well. we sent a 30-page letter to the presiden
