i thought it came from scooter libby. mr. fitzgerald knew that, at the time that it wasn't scooter libby who had outed valerie plane. it was richard armitage who was the top assistant to: powell who was a critic of the war. this whole notion of, we were lied into the war, to punish joe wilson for having criticized the administration, this was not true. this was the administration's own war critics who outed miss claim -- miss plame. he also knew that she had used as her cover a state department's office. brian: when she was working for the cia. judith: yes. in my notes, i had an odd notation. wife works in bureau? i thought at the time, and patrick fitzgerald suggested that it was scooter libby that told me this. this meant that he and i had talked about her. when i learned from her own memoir in 2010, i did not read it until then. when i learned that she had used the state department as cover, i suddenly knew that the notation i had written it not refer to something that scooter libby had told me. it referred to something tha

mr. mccain, no. okay so there you go. a couple of jay votes followed by a no from senator john mccain. libby casey is following this for us i guess that's to be expected that senator mccain would vote no, but i guess the question i asked you is about to be answered, libby are the votes there for this? >> it does look like they are. we have seen five republicans vote in the affirmative so far, you can see this is on going, roll call right now but the key number was five republicans who join with democrats and independents. she needs 50 votes technically, if it is a tie joe biden would break that by voting for her but the white house would like to see her get more than that, of course. so as long as all the democrats are present and accounted for and cast a vote yes, this is looking good for her, i have to tell you we are hearing reports that members of the congressional black caucus, on the house side are watching this vote, also members of loretta lynch's family. a lot view this -- but important for the african-american community because she would be the first female african american general

going to be the favourite for the democratic nomination as libby casey reported no one from the democratic side is yet to announce a run, other than mrs. clinton, how does it affect the campaign if at all? >> here is the thing. there's many ways of looking at this. a lot thought al gore in 2000 was the presumptive nominee, and bill bradley, a former senator and from the new york knicks he wan against al gore and did arguably more damage to al gore in the primary than governor bush of texas, who won the election. a lot of people are saying it's okay. what hillary clinton has to do is she'll be running against the media. i think she'll run against old hillary. she needs to come out of that box, do what she did on twitter and appeal to a younger voter. >> the money is poring in. when you go back to 2008 where president obama upset her. what surprised the campaign is the amount of money that president obama, senator president obama was able to raise, is there anyone on the democratic side that can sneak in and try to raise as much money to keep up with clinton? >> no that's it. a lot of people have been waiting on the sideline for hillary
