mr. marshall. >> you can start speaking. >> good afternoon, chairman. members of the board, mr. ford, my name is corey marshall of the information and financing technology division, presenting the highlights of the fourth quarter service standards and results for 2010. diving right in, we will begin with on-time performance. the increase in the third quarter is 7%, most likely attributable to the run time adjustments and headway improvements put in during september of 2009. of the lines that were surveyed and received enhancements, 77.2% online performance, the not modified lions received just of -- lines receive adjustments. the goal was 85% on the quarter. on an annual basis, the online performance inched up words from 70.3% to 73.5%. 10 lines of achieved online -- on-time performance were achieved, one being in california, the other being in the mission ltd., the 28l and 30 to stockton being the most prominent. there were 19 lines that were 70 percent approved. >> moving on to the scheduled service delivery, that is the combination of officer and equipment availability. while

mr. speaker, i think that general marshall was a great man and deserves recognition. in fact, he received a great deal of recognition during his lifetime. he received the nobel prize. however, mr. speaker, this congress has shown an unfortunate propensity for bringing up bills that are not exactly high priorities in the minds of the american people. . our colleagues across the ime, mr. speaker, are not even trying to deal with legislation that the american people do want and are clamoring for. the failed trillion dollar stimulus, the government takeover of health care, billions of dollars in bailouts were all pushed through by democrats in charge. but when it comes to making a budget or staving off the largest tax increase in american history, these same democrats are sitting on their hands. it would be a travesty, mr. speaker, for this body to adjourn this week and leave a $3.9 trillion tax increase looming over the heads of american families and small businesses. mr. speaker, we stand here today with more than 30 members of your own party making a simple request, let

[applause] president marshall: further public comment on this item? hearing none? mr. craven. i think the they want you for -- i think the lawyers call it redirect. would you answer a few ques questions that may have emerged. >> i don't think there is anyone in the room that does not think the patrol specials are trying to do a good job. i don't think there is anyone in the room that doesn't think threr doing the best job they can and that they are trying to help the citizens of san francisco. i did not know anything or understand anything about the patrol specials, and i have come to learn a lot about them, and there is a minimal of them out in the city. obviously the public wants the patrol specials or obviously they wouldn't be employed or have complinets. my commitment is i have met with most of the patrol specials in the room back in the hall of justice. my certain is i f as i told the news today, i concur with some of the recommendations in the report, but my concern is that patrol specials are supposed to wear air certain kind of uniform, we need to be held accountable.
