mr. marshall. this is my opening letter to the mayor. due to the blatant inappropriate and disrespectful behavior of san francisco vice- president police commissioner marshall, we appeal to you to ask for his resignation of effective immediately. as citizens and members of the public, we offer the following reasons to substantiate our arguments and concerns for the public welfare. inappropriate gestures and a lack -- their public comments is what prompted this rule of order. in 2006, his disrespect for my comrade and director of the inner-city foundation, which she asked him a simple question. during public comment address concerning a young male 14-years of age, he asked an inappropriate question following my public comment testimony. this question was a blatant attempt to discredit my testimony. on april 6, 2011, a harshly and sharply criticized him for that particular comment. marshall interrupted me her to recant his own testimony. the president quickly nudged his elbow. the reason for this, and because marshall violated the rule of

mr. marshall for making that insensitive comment to me. >> if i may. i did not necessarily him making the comment. the complaint to occ does haven't to be made by the individual. any citizen can make a complaint. >> you said did he make a complaint. i am a trained journalist. that was very disrespectful. i am done with that. thank you very much for having me speak that testimony. >> good evening. welcome back. >> before i start my remarks i want to acknowledge the fact that we are pleased with their commitment to address these issues. i thought it was important that we were here in the two minutes and 45 seconds i have left to give you an outline. i served the aclu for more than 25 years. i was proud to be appointed by this commission to serve on a special committee to rewrite the san francisco intelligence policies. that was a collaborative process. what we did is take best practices from four cities throughout the u.s. and crafted a policy from san francisco to meet the intelligence gathering needs of the department and also protect the first amendme

mr r. t. new hampshire fairly extraordinary interesting and knowledgeable minds getting together for this conference but what actually does it all mean well here to talk about as enter gavin marshall with the center for research on globalization hey there andrew let's talk about this i mean this event was held at the same place as the original bretton woods conference out of which came the world bank the i.m.f. a lot of comparisons are being made but it's not the same how much power to these guys have to do anything but you know stays in place. well we're not seeing the same results as the initial bretton conference in one hundred forty four in that we're not seeing the creation of new institutions and out of business on france but there are similar and unique and important parallel is that in the one nine hundred forty four conference you had john in the british representative to bretton woods just the creation of a global currency what she calls the banker. if he thought it would stabilize world financial markets instead they opted for a u.s. reserve currency tied to the price of gold and when. i was coming out of a similar calls for a new world reserve currency the u.s. dollar.
