. >> and mr. mayor, we know it's a city of hills, but also a city of trees, which tend to come down and cause some power problems. have you had any of that yet? >> no, we haven't had any, which is good. yonkers went through an extensive program over the last few years to weed out our trees. weed out, if you will, getting and i think as a result we're 22 storms. so the storms have been rough on our budgets overstorms are coming later could help as longs a we don't have, you know, have a comes to the new environment >> are there any the years of flooding. any issues like that at all? >> none at all at this time. we are prepared for it. we know that we do have flooding. we know that we have three areas that are prone to flooding. and we've been proactive in making sure that the areas are clear so that water can flow. so so far, again, like i said before, so far, so good. we don't see any flooding. we don't have any downed trees. and i expect that may change somewhat. but at the moment things are going well

mr. mayoring at some of the pictures here from wildwood, something that you're, unfortunate atly familiar with and that is the coastal flooding. what can you tell us on the latest about wildwood and that? >> right now the tides have settled down considerably. we have just have remaining water in the low-lying areas and we'll get more as the tide starts to sub seed and we won't be getting as much water in and out, and we hope that -- and we've looked and we find that there's not -- hopefully not as much damage as what could have been. we were reported initially that it would be worse than sandy and then it was downgraded to major, but more of a minor major of flooding. so then all of a sudden it came and it just kept coming and coming and it turned into something. the highest tides reported in this area.period. it went from being bad to not being as bad to being the worst and there was a lot of water in the streets and property damage that we will not know until a later date when the second home

efforts that wave overcame our hiv funding and thank you, mr. mayor and supervisor campos for us you will of us back phil the hiv federal cuts we were playing defense now offense now moving forward and doing so well in our getting to zero effort since the early 70s we've reduced hiv deaths by 90 percent we have in the early 90s reduced hiv infections by 90 from over 2 thousand last year three hundred and 2 infections and well, that's three hundred and 2 too many but with that effort germany quick testing, regular testing and investigating people notice over 90 percent of hiv positive people in san francisco i've noticed immediate access to treatment and viral infections and all tools including assess and making sure that people can afford prep we can do this and get it done that is an exciting step forward we have a wonderful partnership within your city and communities and community-based organizations all working together and very, very grateful for the foundation support of this effort thank you. >> (clapping). >> now i'd like to introduce supervis

mr. mayor, good luck to you. thank you for joining us. >> thank you very much for having us. >> we're learning more about the man charged with planning a new year's terrorist attack in upstate new york. fbi agents say 25 year emanuel lutchman told an informant he wanted to kidnap a couple of people and then kill him so he could onisis. according to the criminal complaint, lutchman and the informant bought knives and a machete to use in the attack and the suspect talked about setting off pressure cooker bombs. laura, what other supplies was the suspect gathering for this alleged terror plot? >> reporter: there was a lot going on here. court records show that the fbi actually used three informants to gather information on this guy, and one of those informants actually helped him go shopping to pick up a few other things, other than the knives and the machete, a pretty nasty list. it included ski masks, zip ties, duct tape, amoana, latex gloves. here's his arresting mugshot. emanuel lutchman had some really bad inte

mr. mayorour reaction to the governor's speech tonight. >> lawrence, it was good to hear him say the buck stopped there. it was good it began with him, with the emergency manager law, when the governor removes a mayor and essentially takes over that city in a hostile takeover, he's substituting his judgment and leadership for that mayor. and it's a very important job. huge mistakes were made. this is a massive debacle. it's going to take millions and millions to fix. but most importantly, lives are at stake. it's sobering to hear he's taking it seriously. we're talking about human life. it's great they're passing out bottles of water, but you can't shower in this. it's hard to cook with these bottle of water. there's so much that needs to be done to fix the infrastructure, the psyche, and the economic development, to encourage people to come to lansing. all the things that a mayor does that local leadership does that has been supplanted by the emergency manager system. he got a powerful emergen
